Burns to remain with Truro

9 December 2014

Goalkeeper Charlie Burns has extended his loan spell with Truro City until 8th January.

The 19-year-old has been in fine form for the White Tigers, playing a pivotal role as they have won four of the five games he has featured in.

His stint started with back-to-back successes over St Neots Town and Witham Town before he was rested for the triumph over Bridgwater Town.

He returned for the victory over Dunstable Town and also played in the narrow defeat to Hemel Hempstead, while he kept his third clean sheet in five outings in the 6-0 thumping of Hereford United at the weekend.

Burns, who has played the full 90 minutes in each of those five fixtures, goes head-to-head on Saturday with fellow Don Will Summerfield, who is on loan at Arlesey
