Players from MK Dons have become the first VIPs in the country to lend their names to a table at Bella Italia.
The table was revealed at a party to celebrate the restaurant’s launch on Thursday 27th November, and was attended by Karl Robinson and his entire squad as well as Bella Italia Managing Director Nick White and restaurant manager Gavin Scott.
White said: “MK Dons really deserve their VIP status after some tremendous performances this season. They are doing so much to raise the profile of Milton Keynes and make local people proud.
“Their table takes pride of place in our restaurant and we hope local people enjoy lots of fun times around it.”
MK Dons Head of Sports Science, Fitness and Conditioning, Damien Doyle, had to review the Bella menu before agreeing to link players with the restaurant, and he was really impressed.
“We have to be cautious about where and what the players eat when they’re dining out,” Doyle commented. “The menu at Bella Italia has a variation of different options that suit their nutritional needs.”
Since opening its doors on Monday 17th November, Bella at MK1 has welcomed hundreds of local people for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails – not to mention the ‘Fabulous and Amazing Gelato Cart’ that’s got everyone talking thanks to its incredible range of flavours and toppings.
The MK1 restaurant also notched up another first with the earliest opening time of any Bella in the country, welcoming early risers for breakfast from 7.30am Monday to Saturday or 9am on Sundays.
