An MK Dons Media Team played out a 2-2 draw with the MK Dons Supporters Association on Thursday evening, in their annual Christmas clash.
It was the MKDSA who took the lead early on courtesy of Josh Orlang’s stunning chip, but Doyle pulled the Media Team level soon after with an unstoppable volley from no less than 25-yards out.
The Supporters went in front once again midway through the first half when Chris Patrickson finished well after a scramble in the box, before Barker netted his first for the Media Team from Ben Campbell’s cross, to ensure the half finished all-square.
Both sides had chances to steal the bragging rights in the second half, with Barker and Tony Hawkins coming closest for the Lee Scriven’s side – the latter denied by an excellent stop from MKDSA keeper Jon Twilley.
In the end, with nothing to separate the two sides, the game finished as a draw – a result which extends the Media Teams unbeaten run for another season.
