MK Dons are delighted to welcome back defender Jordan Spence, who returns to stadiummk on a one-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months.
The former England Under-21 international, who can operate in the centre and on the right-hand side of defence, made a total of 31 appearances for the men from MK1 in 2013/14 and scored two goals.
He will be eligible to play in Saturday’s Sky Bet League 1 clash with Coventry City and will wear the number 12 shirt.
Speaking to mkdons.com, Spence said: “It feels great to be back, I’m really, really happy to be here.
“I’ve said many times how much I enjoyed my spells here last season, so I’m looking forward to pulling on the Dons shirt once again.
“I spent nine years at West Ham so this was a big decision for me and I’ve definitely made the right one. I’m determined to do all I can for MK Dons.”
Dons boss Robinson added: “I’m estastic to be able to bring Jordan back to the Club. He was a little bit out of our reach at first – I know there was interest from Championship clubs but for whatever reason nothing materialised.
“He will push the two centre-halves and the full-backs because he’s a natural right-back anyway. He provides us with great strength in depth and hopefully we can build on that.”
MK Dons Player subscribers will soon be able to view an interview with Jordan.
