Connor Furlong couldn’t prevent Scotland U16s falling to a 2-0 defeat against Mexico on Monday.
Furlong started the young Scots’ final fixture of the Copa Mexico de Naciones, after being a substitute in the losses to Honduras and Ecuador by the same scoreline.
The 16-year-old will now return to Milton Keynes ahead of the U18s’ clash with Northampton Town on Saturday.
