Karl Robinson is eager to return to winning ways at stadiummk this afternoon when his MK Dons side take on Crawley Town.
Robinson’s men host the Red Devils looking to build on their fifth straight away victory last weekend by putting an end to a baron run at home.
“This place can be special,” the 33-year-old told MK Dons Player. “The players have been brilliant in such a difficult period and that’s all I need to concentrate on. They’ve really dug deep.
“These players always step up to challenges because we make an effort to recruit players who want to play for the Football Club for the right reasons. This club is getting bigger and stronger and it’s recruiting better people to be involved in it.
“I’m looking forward to what is going to be a great game on Saturday. There’s been an edge to the boys all week and I’ve seen something in them that’s ruthless. I’m excited to see what we get, it will be interesting.”
Today also sees the Club host its second Family Dons Big Day of this season with over 50 rides, attractions and stalls set to base around stadiummk ahead of kick-off and match tickets reduced across the board.
And Robinson hopes the popular day will continue to be a success and attract potential MK Dons supporters and season ticket holders of the future.
He added: “I use my own daughter as a benchmark for these days and she always gets excited by Family Fun Day. It’s great to see so many young fans in here.
“We’re a young Football Club trying to build for the future and these Family Fun Days could play a big part in the future of this club.
“Sometimes these days can be overlooked but we don’t here, we utilise them to attract potential fans of the future. It’s great to see so many young fans in here.”
