Duo could be back for Cov

Karl Robinson has revealed that Izale McLeod and Stephen Gleeson are both in contention to return against Coventry City at Sixfields on Saturday.

Robinson said: “We’ll be taking a young athletic squad there, one we feel can win the game.”

However, the Dons will be without Ryan Hall, who has an ankle problem, adding to the injury list of Ben Reeves (also ankle), Darren Potter (Achilles) and Lee Hodson (hip).

“Izale’s definitely fit,” the 33-year-old told MK Dons Player. “Gleese is touch and go, whether he’ll be fit for Saturday we are still not too sure about that.”

Striker McLeod trained with his team-mates on Thursday after recovering from a calf injury, while midfielder Gleeson (also calf) was put through his paces by the Club’s medical staff.
