Danny Collinge and England Under-16s got off the mark at the Montaigu Tournament on Thursday with a 1-1 draw against South Korea.
Defender Collinge played the full 80 minutes and earned his ninth international cap as the Young Lions bounced back from their defeat to Saudi Arabia to take a point off the South Koreans at Mareuil sur Lay.
England, whose solitary goal came courtesy of West Ham United’s Jahmal Hector Ingram, currently occupy last place in Pool B but can still finish second if they beat Portugal in their final group match on Saturday.
