Baldock not to be risked

29 April 2014

George Baldock will miss the final-day fixture with Leyton Orient at stadiummk this weekend.

Since being given the all-clear

The 21-year-old suffered a concussive head injury at Rotherham United on Saturday and after lengthy treatment on the field, Baldock was taken to a nearby hospital where he underwent assessment.
and returning home that night, the Club’s medical team have continued to closely monitor the right-back.
“George will not be available for selection so unfortunately his season, which has been an impressive on, has come to a premature end,” said Karl Robinson.

“He’s on the mend and he feels better but we won’t take any chances with a player’s health and wellbeing.”
Meanwhile, centre-back Antony Kay could return for the clash with the O’s after missing the past four games with a thigh injury.
