Andy Woolmer will be the man in the middle for this weekend’s Sky Bet League 1 clash between MK Dons and Stevenage.
Woolmer has been officiating in the Football League since 2004 and during his time as a referee he has taken charge of six games involving the Dons. In those matches, Woolmer has shown 20 yellow cards but hasn’t brandished a red.
Woolmer’s most recent Dons appointment was the 3-2 defeat to Coventry City last season and on that night, the Northamptonshire-based official booked four players including Dean Lewington, Adam Chicksen and Alan Smith.
This season, Woolmer has refereed five games and has shown a total of 18 yellow cards. Woolmer, who last sent a player off in April this year, recently took charge of the 1-1 draw played out by Watford and Charlton Athletic.
