The first block of Upper Bowl seats were installed earlier today (Monday) and mkdons.com was there to capture the moment.
The process of fitting the padded box seats began this morning and it is expected to take up to four weeks to finish. The first set of seats have gone up in the North Stand, above the Away End.
The Upper Tier will be open for a number of test events during the early part of the season, but is likely to remain closed unless demand exceeds the Lower Tier’s capacity. stadiummk’s capacity will rise to 30,700.
