Comedy kicks off at stadiummk

16 September 2013

This Friday sees the return of comedy to the red dot bar at the DoubleTree by Hilton at stadiummk.

To launch the night The Comedy Cow are bringing one of the hottest female acts on the circuit at the moment, Katherine Ryan.

As well as being a regular fixture of the UK stand-up scene and going on her first nationwide tour earlier in the year, Canadian comedian Katherine Ryan has been a fresh and bitingly funny addition to our TV screens, appearing on programmes such as Mock the Week, 8 out of 10 Cats, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Q.I.

She was also voted through to the final of BBC One’s ‘Lets Dance for Comic Relief’ after a spectacular performance as Nicki Minaj.

Supporting Katherine will be four other comedians, including Bedford Comedian of the Year 2013, Mark Cram who lives in Milton Keynes and Welsh comedian Paul James who is highly regarded as one of the best comperes on the circuit.

The Comedy Cow is run by two secondary school teachers as a hobby, and has grown from holding one night every six weeks at The Crown in Stony Stratford to now holding three comedy nights a month across the city.

(subject to availability) Doors open at Comedy Cow will be at the red dot bar on the third Friday of every month and is a fixture worth adding to the calendar. Tickets are £10, or £8 for season ticket holders and can be purchased at
