MK Dons will line-up in a 4-3-3 formation for tonight’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Round 2 clash with Stevenage.
With seven first team players unavailable either through injury, suspension or international commitments, Karl Robinson is forced into making six changes to the side which lost 3-2 to Gillingham.
With David Martin out with a back injury, goalkeeper Ian McLoughlin returns to the starting line-up along with Ben Reeves and George Baldock, who was listed as a doubt ahead of kick-off with a chest injury.
Reeves will start at left-back, meaning captain Dean Lewington will partner Shaun Williams in the centre of defence. Baldock will be at right-back in the absence of Lee Hodson, who has been called-up to the Northern Ireland international squad.
Elsewhere, Alan Smith will play alongside Darren Potter and Stephen Gleeson in a three-man Dons midfield, behind an attacking trio of Izale McLeod, Patrick Bamford and Daniel Powell, who will make his first start of the season tonight.
On the five-man bench for the Dons are Brendan Galloway, Giorgio Rasulo, Jason Banton and Samir Carruthers.
