Ref Watch: Stevenage

Fred Graham will take charge of tomorrow’s Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Round 2 tie between MK Dons and Stevenage at Broadhall Way.

Essex-based Graham has been a Football League official since 2004 and during that time he has overseen six Dons matches, brandishing 23 yellow cards and showing just the one red card. The solitary sending off came in the Dons’ win over Brentford in November 2010, Bees defender Pim Balkestein the man handed his marching orders.

Graham’s most recent Dons appointment came last season when he refereed the Dons’ 1-1 draw with Bury at stadiummk. Graham booked three players that day, including Dons duo Daniel Powell and Dean Bowditch.

So far this season, Graham has officiated seven games and shown a total of 24 yellow cards, but he has yet to produce a red. Graham was last in the middle a week ago, when he marshalled Charlton Athletic’s 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.
