Flanagan serves one-match ban

7 October 2013

Tom Flanagan will serve a one match ban following his dismissal in the 3-2 defeat to Gillingham at the weekend.

The MK Dons defender was sent-off in the 13th minute at Priestfield Stadium for a professional foul on Cody McDonald. As a result Danny Kedwell, who had given the Gills the lead from the spot two minutes earlier, netted his second penalty of the match to give the hosts a 2-0 lead.

Patrick Bamford’s brace pulled the scores level before Danny Hollands bagged the winner for Martin Allen’s side.

Flanagan will serve his suspension tomorrow (Tuesday) night when the Dons travel to Stevenage in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Second Round.
