Aylesbury Fans Forum

3 October 2013

MK Dons will be hosting a special Football Forum at Aylesbury FC’s Affinity Investments Stadium on Thursday 28th November.

Players and directors from both the Dons and Aylesbury FC will be present at the event, which will allow supporters the chance to have any burning questions answered. The Forum kicks off at 7.30pm, just two days prior to the Aylesbury Big Day.

Danny Martone, Chairman of Aylesbury FC said: “The Club is very excited to be involved with MK Dons and is looking forward to a beneficial relationship for both clubs.

“Aylesbury's senior club has lots of links around the town and the county offering good football opportunities whether you are a player or a spectator and it sees this link with MK Dons as another positive step in the clubs growth.

“Having played MK Dons twice and met their C airman Pete Winkelman, I have seen what can be achieved in football by involving the local community. This is another step by the club to attract more people into the game and we hope that the fans of both teams will take advantage of the special offers being given to them so we can improve our fan base as well as the Dons.

“I would also like to think that the local businesses will also see this as a positive step and they will look to get involved so we can continue to grow football at grass roots level and bring non league success to Aylesbury again while our good friends in Milton Keynes look for Premier status.”

The Club will also be promoting a future Aylesbury FC game to Dons supporters and will be engaging in a number of initiatives with the local non-League outfit over the next few months.

MK Dons’ Executive Director Andrew Cullen added: “We are really looking forward to working with a variety of organisations from Aylesbury over the next few months. In particular we are excited about the prospect of strengthening our relationship with Aylesbury FC and promoting the town and everything special Aylesbury has to offer to our supporters here at stadiummk”

Admission to the Forum is free, with tickets available to collect now at the MK Dons Box Office at stadiummk and thecentre:mk, Aylesbury FC and Tilly’s Coffee Shop situated at 8 Cambridge Street, Aylesbury.
