Anniversary plans outlined

17 October 2013

2014 will be a very special year for Milton Keynes Dons, as the Football Club gets set to celebrate its 10th birthday.

The Dons will mark the anniversary by hosting a number of exciting events throughout 2014 as well as launching a series of limited edition merchandise, ten years on from when the Club was formed on 1st July 2004.

The Club has been working with a panel of supporters to plan the events which will be announced in the coming months.  Fans should look forward to a variety of different occasions and evenings, suitable for all ages so the whole family can get involved in the birthday celebrations.

To kick-off things off, MK Dons can today reveal their 10 year anniversary logo. The emblem was been designed by Andie Airfix, the man behind the original MK Dons logo and will be used on the Dons’ 2014/15 kit and a number of other items for one year only.

The Dons will also be releasing their first piece of 10-year merchandise this weekend, with a limited edition MK Dons Sticker Album set to arrive in store on Saturday, in time for the Family Dons Big Day clash with Rotherham United.

The sticker album, will be free to collect from the Club Superstore at stadiummk and thecentre:mk from Saturday with sticker packs on sale from £2. Young Dons members are able to collect a free starter pack from the Club Superstore from Saturday.

Keep your eyes on mkdons.com for more information on the sticker album as well as further announcements on the Club’s 10 year celebrations.
