Karl Robinson makes two changes to his side for tonight’s clash with Colchester United, with Ben Reeves and George Baldock both starting.
Reeves replaces Izale McLeod in the number 10 position behind lone striker Patrick Bamford, while Baldock will take up a place on the right-hand side of the Dons’ attacking trio in place of Daniel Powell.
Young midfielder Dele Alli, who made it through his first 90 minutes of competitive action since September on Saturday, is the only member of the forward quartet to remain in the same position they played in against Bradford City.
Elsewhere, the Dons remain unchanged with Darren Potter and Stephen Gleeson continuing as the central midfield pairing in front of a back four which consists of Lee Hodson, Jordan Spence, Shaun Williams and captain Dean Lewington. Ian McLoughlin is in goal.
If things don’t go to plan, Robinson has an array of forward options on the bench with Alan Smith, Izale McLeod, Daniel Powell, Jason Banton and Samir Carruthers all among the substitutes. Defender Tom Flanagan and Under-18s goalkeeper Charlie Burns are also available if needed.
