Shaun Williams is the man of the MOment thanks to his three goals this month raising £300 for Prostate Cancer UK.
The MK Dons defender, along with his team-mate Stephen Gleeson, is participating in Movember – a month of growing a moustache to raise money and awareness to Prostate Cancer UK.
And Movember’s Major Partner Gillette are donating £100 for every goal scored by footballers growing moustaches, and for every clean sheet by goalkeepers participating, for Movember which means Williams has pocketed £300 for the charity with two more games to play this month.
Both Williams and Gleeson have been sporting a furry top lips throughout Movember to ensure men’s health issues, which are usually a taboo subject, are brought to the public’s attention and the
duo hope to inspire men to be more cautious when it comes to their health.
The Dons pair took part in the hairy month of charity last season too and it appears a slug on the top lip inspires goal scoring form from the latter. Last year Williams netted three goals in all competitions last Movember and he still has Colchester and Coventry to see off this time round.
