MK Dons Under-15s take on Chelsea Under-15s tonight, 7pm, in the third and final Academy Challenge Match of the season.
With the first team away until July, Tuesday’s game between Premier League Academy giants Chelsea and the impressive Young Dons provides supporters with the perfect opportunity to get their football fix this off season.
Dan Micciche’s young side have twice this season entertained fans at stadiummk, impressing many with their performances against Arsenal and Manchester City. Although the Young Dons lost on both occasions, the Dons’ exciting brand of football proved more than a match for their Category A counterparts.
Tomorrow, supporters will get the chance to maybe see the next Sam Baldock, Dele Alli or Tom Flanagan with the likes of starlets Hugo Logan, Kevin Danso and Connor Furlong all in action.
Logan, 14, trained with the first-team this season and his impressive performances at both schoolboy and Under-18s level saw him called-up to the England Under-16 squad ahead of the Nordic Tournament this summer.
Danso also earned international recognition in 2012/13, picking up two caps and two goals for Austria Under-15s, while Connor Furlong has twice been called up to Scotland for a training camp.
