Howzat for charity!

7 May 2013

This Sunday the annual Mayor’s cricket match takes place at Campbell Park.

Mayor of Milton Keynes, Cllr Catriona Morris will get the first match underway when she bowls the first ball at 10.30am.

After an incredible year, in which she named MK Dons Sport and Education Trust as one of her chosen charities, Cllr Morris will ensure her 12 months as Mayor of Milton Keynes will draw to a close with a day of entertainment for the whole family.

Sport has played a large part in Cllr Morris’ work over the past 12 months and to celebrate there is a tournament between MK Council, MK Dons SET, Open University, Jaipur Restaurant and Keens Shay Keens.

The event is FREE for all the family and takes place at the Pavilion Campbell Park from 10.30am. As well as the cricket there is a bar, stalls, Goal-Don shot, face painting and Henna!

All proceeds will go to the Mayor’s Charity, MK Dons Sport and Education Trust.
