Referee Oliver Langford will take charge of this weekend’s fixture between MK Dons and Tranmere Rovers at stadiummk.
The West Midlands based official has been involved in the Football League since 2008 and has overseen a total of five games involving the Dons. During those matches, Langford has brandished 12 yellow cards and two red cards.
The solitary Dons sending off came in a goalless draw with Brighton & Hove Albion in May 2010, when Alex Rae was shown a straight red card for a dangerous tackle. Dean Lewington is the only current Dons player to be booked by Langford.
Langford’s last Dons appointment was earlier in the season when he umpired the 2-0 win over Carlisle United in September. That day, nobody was booked or sent off.
This season Langford has refereed 29 games and has showed 53 yellow cards and four red cards. His last match came on 5th March, where he oversaw the 2-2 between Peterborough United and Charlton Athletic.
