Loan round-up

20 March 2013

Tom Flanagan started his first game for Barnet in their important 2-0 victory over Fleetwood Town at Underhill on Tuesday night.

Flanagan, who made his debut for the Bees as a substitute on the weekend, played the full 90 minutes as Edgar Davids’ side put an end to their losing streak.

The 21-year-old centre-half put in an assured performance as he helped the Greater London outfit not only pick up a valuable three points but also keep a clean-sheet for the first time since February.

Flanagan will now prepare for his next fixture this Saturday, which sees him and Barnet host Cheltenham Town in another vital clash for the League 2 strugglers.
