Loan round-up

18 March 2013

Defender Tom Flanagan made his debut for Barnet on Saturday, in their 3-2 defeat to Accrington Stanley.

The 21-year-old centre-back joined the League 2 Bees on loan until the end of the season last Thursday and started the match on the bench before arriving as an 82nd minute substitute in place of Welshman John Oster.

Flanagan was booked in the final moments of the five-goal thriller but couldn’t prevent the Greater London side from suffering defeat.

Elsewhere Gary MacKenzie suffered defeat for the first time since joining Blackpool on loan, after Paul Ince’s side were beaten 1-0 by struggling Peterborough United.

MacKenzie, making his fourth appearance for the Tangerines, played ninety minutes in the slender loss, as the Lancashire outfit remain in 17th position in the Championship table.
