Late Kick Off returns

7 March 2013

An unusual Board Meeting was held last week as three Chairmen met to discuss football.

MK Dons Chairman Pete Winkelman made the short trip to Sixfields to talk about the game with his opposite numbers at Northampton Town and Peterborough United, David Cardoza and Darragh MacAnthony.

The reason behind the meeting was a special feature for BBC Late Kick Off, which returns to your screens this Sunday on BBC1 following Match of the Day 2.

The regional football magazine show gathered three of football’s most influential men in the East to chew over finances, academies, players, managers and the day-to-day running of Football Clubs in the modern game.

With all three clubs competing across the Football League, the BBC Late Kick Off crew were presented with an incredible insight and plenty of lively discussions. The piece will be split into sections and shown across the latest series of BBC Late Kick Off.

Matt Holland will once again present the BBC Late Kick Off East edition of the show. The series will bring all of the goals, highlights, news and behind-the-scenes features from all the Football League clubs in our region.

If you can’t stay up to watch the programme on a Sunday night, all seven regional versions will be available on the iPlayer for the following week.
