MK Dons Ladies suffered their second straight defeat on Sunday after a 2-1 loss away to Cambridge Women.
John Dyer’s side started slowly and conceded mid-way through the first half before falling two goals behind courtesy of a well-taken free kick just before the interval.
After the break, the Dons came out rejuvenated and had plenty of chances to reduce the deficit early on in the second period.
Donna Norman, making her first start since joining the Club, and Leah Cudone (pictured) were at the focal point of every Dons attack and their constant probing was finally rewarded as the Ladies pulled one back.
The equaliser, however, never came and despite impressive performances from the Dons midfield, Cambridge Women hung on bravely to take home the three points.
