MK Dons will travel to Northampton Town in Round 1 of the Capital One Cup.
Karl Robinson’s side will make the short trip to Sixfields Stadium to take on the League 2 Cobblers on the week commencing 5th August. mkdons.com will confirm the date of the game, plus ticket details, in due course.
The Dons enjoyed early success in this competition last season, beating Cheltenham Town and Championship side Blackburn Rovers before being knocked out by Martin O’Neill’s Sunderland at the third round stage.
