The magic of The FA Cup with Budweiser is set to be rediscovered this weekend when MK Dons travel to Sheffield Wednesday for their Third Round encounter.
The Hillsborough stadium will provide the backdrop for the Dons on one of the most highly-anticipated weekends in English football.
A month ago the Dons booked their place in the Third Round for the third consecutive season with a dramatic 2-1 win at home to AFC Wimbledon.
Sheffield Wednesday will be grateful for the break from the Championship, where they currently tie third from bottom, for the weekend as they look for a result in the Cup to boost their confidence.
Battles at Hillsborough between the two sides have always been exciting with eight goals shared in the last two encounters in Sheffield. The Dons, however, have never beaten Wednesday but will be full of confidence following their New Year’s Day victory at Notts County.
Almost 800 tickets have been sold for the trip and the away supporters will be sat in the Carling West Upper Stand. Tickets are still on sale from the MK Dons Box Office.
Tickets have been priced at £10 for adults and £5 for Over-65s and Under-18s. Wheelchair and ambulant disabled supporters are entitled to a free carer.
Official Dons Travel will also be available for this match with adult places available for £17 and senior, disabled and under-18 places available for £16. Members and season ticket holders are entitled to a £1 discount and coaches will depart stadiummk at 10.30am.
