Karl Robinson hands Gary MacKenzie his first start since September while Jon Otsemobor also makes his first appearance in over a month.
MacKenzie, who underwent an operation on a hip problem last October, has only featured twice since coming off early in the 1-1 draw at home to Notts County 17 weeks ago. Full-back Otsemobor also returns to the fold for the first time since picking up a groin injury in the 3-2 to Brentford in early December.
The defensive duo come into the back four in place of Adam Chicksen and Shaun Williams, with the latter moving into midfield alongside Darren Potter replacing Ryan Harley.
The Dons’ only other change comes in the form of Alan Smith, who replaces the cup-tied Izale McLeod allowing former-Wednesday striker Ryan Lowe to lead the line up-top once again.
On the bench, there are places for academy quartet Dele Alli, Giorgio Rasulo, Charlie Burns and Brendan Galloway – the former two coming on as second-half substitutes in the goalless draw between the two sides ten days ago.
