Potential QPR rematch awaits

MK Dons could face Queens Park Rangers or West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup with Budweiser Fourth Round, if they win their Third Round Replay against Sheffield Wednesday.

Queens Park Rangers and West Bromwich Albion played 1-1 draw at Loftus Road while the Dons held Wednesday to a goalless draw at Hillsborough yesterday and their reward was a place in today’s draw.

QPR or WBA will play host to the Dons or Wednesday on the weekend of 26th/27th January.

Represented by ball number 32, the Dons or Sheffield Wednesday were drawn by David Seaman and Dave Beasant to face either QPR, who they met in the Third Round last year, or West Brom in the next stage of the world’s most famous competition.

MK Dons have never made it into the Fourth Round before, but faced a similar situation last season when they would have met Chelsea at stadiummk had they beaten QPR in their Third Round Replay.

Karl Robinson’s side, who have already beaten AFC Wimbledon in their current Cup run, will be keen to make history this time round.
