MK Channel Row need your support

28 January 2013

A team of Milton Keynes Dons staff and Milton Keynes Rowing Club members are in training ahead of the gruelling challenge to row across the English Channel.

Two boats will be making the 22-mile journey in April after city Mayor Catriona Morris came up with the idea to raise money for the MK Dons SET, one of her chosen charities, and the Rowing Club.

In a bid to earn more funds for the respective causes, a charity games night is set to be hosted in the red dot bar at stadiummk on Friday 1st February. BBC 3 Counties’ Luke Ashmead is set to compare the fun-filled evening which will include a quiz, horse racing and an auction.

Doors will open at 6.30pm for teams to register ahead of the quiz, which will commence at 7.15pm. Tickets are priced at £10 and include the entry into the quiz plus pie and mash, or an alternative vegetarian option.
