MK Dons and the towns of Leighton Buzzard and Linslade are set to join forces for the first Leighton-Linslade Big Day.

There are special ticket deals available for residents and businesses from Leighton Buzzard and Linslade for the Dons clash against the Bees, with a wealth of activities also set to take place in the two towns throughout March.
The Dons will be making a number of appearances in Leighton Buzzard and Linslade prior to the mouth-watering League 1 fixture including a Children’s Roadshow for 6-13 year olds at Van Dyke School on Thursday 7th March. From 4.30pm until 6pm, four MK Dons first team players will be in attendance to help take part in games and activities run by the MK Dons Sport and Education Trust. Tickets for this event are free and are available from The White House in Leighton Buzzard and MK Dons Box Office.
This will be followed a week later on Thursday 14th March when two Dons players visit Van Dyke School for a special training session for those junior football clubs that have signed up to the MK Dons Group Ticketing Rewards Scheme.
Chairman Pete Winkelman and manager Karl Robinson will then join Leighton Town Chairman Richard Graham on a special football forum at Leighton Town Football Club on March 21st from 7.30pm. Tickets for this are free and available from both MK Dons Box Office and The White House.
A reception for local businesses and retailers will also take place at stadiummk on Wednesday March 6th with tours of the stadium and a brief address from the Dons chairman.
Leighton Buzzard Mayor Alan Brandham said “The association between MK Dons and Leighton Linslade Town Council is encouraging for children and adults to jointly enjoy the football experience.”
Residents with an LU7 postcode are also entitled to purchase discounted match tickets at the special price of £10 for an adult ticket and £3 for under-18s from the MK Dons Box Office and at thecentre:mk. Organised groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets at just £5 adults and £1 under-18s.
Executive director Andrew Cullen added: “Many of our supporters are from Leighton and Linslade and following the success of similar events with the towns of Buckingham and Aylesbury we are delighted to be invited by Leighton and Linslade to put together a programme to help promote the area to other supporters at stadiummk.
