Kay handed four-match ban

Milton Keynes Dons can confirm that defender Antony Kay will serve a four-match suspension after his claim for wrongful dismissal was rejected by the Football Association.

The 30-year-old received a straight red card for violent conduct after an incident involving Yeovil Town striker Patrick Madden during Tuesday night’s defeat to the Glovers.

The club launched an immediate appeal but, after a meeting of the FA Disciplinary Committee on Friday morning, the red card and consequent suspension was upheld.
