Karl Robinson’s MK Dons face Barnsley in the FA Cup with Budweiser fifth round at stadiummk, in what is set to be another historic occasion in the Football Club’s history. The prize on offer is a place in the quarter finals of English football’s most prestigious competition – something the Dons have never done before.
Season ticket holders are now no longer able to purchase their tickets at a discounted rate, after the deadline past at 5pm this evening. Tickets for all supporters will now only be available at the standard price from the Box Office at stadiummk and thecentre:mk.
Dons manager Robinson, when speaking to the media this week, was keen to encourage supporters to turn out in their numbers tomorrow in order to help create a special atmosphere for an occasion that he believes should be celebrated.
He said: “Tomorrow’s going to be exciting. I hope we have a full house and I hope we have a lot of people in here as I feel the players deserve to play in front of a big crowd.
“I think the fifth round of the FA Cup is something that should be celebrated and I believe there’s a band on before the game as well so that will add a little bit more hype too it as well.
“We want to leave this game tomorrow looking like the stronger Football Club.”
