Supporters are urged to bring a non-perishable item to donate to The Food Bank at stadiummk this weekend...
The Food Bank was established in Milton Keynes in June 2004 operating out of Milton Keynes Christian Centre on Oldbrook, with the aim to provide short term, emergency food supplies, to families or individuals who hit a crisis for any reason.
The Food Bank relies entirely on donations of food and money from local schools, churches, businesses, organisations and individuals and every single item or penny makes a difference.
As part of the Club's aim to raise awareness and support The Food Bank's great work in the local community, MK Dons are asking for supporters to donate tinned and dried food when they attended the League 1 match against Preston North End this weekend, kick-off 3pm. The Food Bank collection point is outside the Box Office.
If you want to donate please remember The Food Bank need non-perishable items which include:
Meat (tinned), fish (tinned), fruit (tinned), vegetables (tinned), baked beans, spaghetti (tinned), soup (tinned), rice pudding (tinned), tomatoes (tinned), dried pasta and rice (500gm), pasta sauce, breakfast cereal, biscuits, long life juice and milk, teabags/coffee, sugar, cup-a-soup, jam.
