A glimpse into the future

4 February 2013

The popular Under-16s showcase fixture returns to stadiummk later this month.

MK Dons will entertain their Arsenal counterparts at MK1 on Monday 18th February, kick-off 7pm. They were due to meet late last year, however heavy snow put paid to the fixture.

The game, newly named the Gwen and Jim Mann Challenge Cup match, will see Dan Micciche’s youngsters compete against some of the brightest young players in England in the Gunners’ set-up.

Both clubs are renowned for their attractive, stylish and slick passing football so this game offers a great opportunity to watch the up and coming stars of the Dons and Arsenal, who will one day be looking to make it professional for their respective clubs.

The Gunners side will face a Dons team budding with talent including the likes of England Under-16 international Giorgio Rasulo, who has already featured for the first team in the FA Cup, Kabongo Tshimanga, Ben Tilney and Kyran Whiltshire will be on show along with many more who have featured for the Under-18s this season.

Tickets from the original fixture are valid for the re-arranged date. Tickets for this game are on sale now priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions with all proceeds going straight back into the Academy set-up.

Tickets can be purchased from the Box Office at stadiummk and thecentre:mk or by calling 01908 622900.
