MK Dons’ young stars played the part of Santa’s Little Helpers on Thursday, as part of Text Santa’s fundraising efforts for Age UK Milton Keynes.
The entire Under-18s side, along with several of the schoolboys, visited Morrison’s at Westcroft District Centre earlier this lunchtime to help pack the shopping for customers, for a small donation which would go towards Age UK Milton Keynes.
The young Dons’ help and assistance was warmly received by all and they certainly helped to provide some Christmas cheer with just 13 days to go, now, until the Big Day.
Age UK, one of the chosen beneficiaries of ITV’s annual charity appeal, will be offering hot meals and emergency warmth parks to people in Milton Keynes and around the country, who can’t afford to heart their homes this winter.
