Goalkeeper David Martin returns to the starting XI for the first time since the start of November, as MK Dons make four changes.

Martin, 27, hasn’t featured for the side since the 1-0 victory over Walsall last month due to a calf injury but re-takes his place between the sticks for today’s FA Cup with Budweiser clash.

Also coming into the team this afternoon is Alan Smith, who makes his first start since October in the centre of midfield alongside Stephen Gleeson while wide duo Samir Carruthers and Jason Banton are also included in Karl Robinson’s starting XI; the former having received clearance to play by Aston Villa yesterday.

While it is all change up top, the Dons remain the same in defence with Lee Hodson, Jordan Spence, Shaun Williams and Dean Lewington all keeping their places along with Ben Reeves and Patrick Bamford, who both survive following the 3-1 defeat to Coventry City last weekend.

On the bench for the Dons are McLoughlin, Tom Flanagan, Dele Alli, George Baldock and young duo Brendan Galloway and Giorgio Rasulo. Alli passed a late fitness test having suffered a knock this week.

Dean Bowditch (hip), Luke Chadwick (foot), Antony Kay (hip), Daniel Powell (ankle), Darren Potter (suspended) and Dale Jennings (ineligible) miss out.

MK Dons (4-2-3-1): Martin; Hodson, Spence, Williams, Lewington (c); Gleeson, Smith; Carruthers, Reeves, Banton; Bamford.

Subs: McLoughlin (GK), Flanagan, Baldock, Galloway, Rasulo.

Dover Athletic: Walker, Stone (c), Wynter, Raggett, Forbes, Modeste, Rogers, Elder, Cogan, Murphy

Subs: Hook (GK), Charles, Bakare, Orlu, Kamara, Woodall, Carew.
