Robbo to play in charity match

18 December 2013

Dons boss Karl Robinson will pull on his boots on Thursday evening to battle against MK Dons fans in one of the most eagerly awaited football clashes of the season.

Robinson will join a team of various MK Dons personnel and an ensemble of local media personalities dubbed as the ‘Media Tarts’ to take on the highly-respected MK Dons Supporters Association (MKDSA) football team.

Joining Robinson for the ‘Tarts’ is the likes of BBC 3 Counties’ Luke Ashmead and Geoff Doyle as well as reporters Toby Lock and MKFM’s Adam Beechers.

The feisty festive fixture is staged each year to help raise money for the Milton Keynes Hospital’s children’s ward with players and coaches of both sides making donations to be part of the game.
Manor Fields at Fenny Stratford has been chosen to stage the charity game and all the action will kick-off at 7.30pm this Thursday evening.

All are welcome to attend, entrance is free and those wishing to do so can make contributions to Milton Keynes Hospital Children’s ward on the night.

The MKDSA and MK Dons would like to thank the Irish Centre at Manor Fields for kindly providing the pitch and facilities free of charge.
