Manager Karl Robinson helped MK Dons ‘Media Tarts’ to victory in Thursday’s Annual Charity clash with the MK Dons Supporters Association.
Robinson played 90 minutes in centre midfield alongside former MK Dons Press Officer Anthony Herlihy as the ‘Tarts’ secured a 1-0 victory at Fenny Stratford’s Manor Fields.
BBC Three Counties Radio presenter Luke Ashmead got the game’s only goal in the second half, although MK Dons PA announcer Trevor Marshall should have netted a second from close-range.
The feisty fixture, which is staged every year, raised money for the Milton Keynes Hospital’s children’s ward with both players and coaches from making donations to be part of the game.
