McLeod returns for treatment

31 December 2013

MK Dons striker Izale McLeod has returned to the Football Club to receive treatment on a thigh strain.

McLeod has been on loan at Sky Bet League 2 outfit Northampton Town since late November but his stay at Sixfields has been cut short due to the injury, which would have kept him out for the remainder of his loan deal.

The 29-year-old suffered the strain 53 minutes into the Cobblers’ 1-0 defeat to Burton Albion at Pirelli Stadium on Boxing Day.

McLeod made a total of four appearances during his time on loan with Northampton, scoring just one goal in a 4-1 defeat to Wycombe Wanderers.

McLeod will now receive treatment from the Club’s medical staff before once again becoming available for selection for Dons manager Karl Robinson.
