Season tickets hit 5,000+

8 August 2013

The number of season ticket holders for the 2013/14 Sky Bet League 1 home campaign has surpassed the 5,000 mark.

The Club stuck to its guns with the ‘Football Is A Simple Game And So Are Our Prices’ promotion and over 5,000 supporters have recognised the value for money buy snapping up tickets ahead of the Dons’ first home game against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.

There are currently 5,060 season ticket holders registered with the Dons for the year ahead, of which 296 are new season ticket holders to stadiummk and 84 of those were recruited as a result of the Wednesday night tours.

Of the newcomers to MK1, 35 have been recommended as part of the Top Recruiter Scheme and there is still chance for someone to take the crown with five season ticket holders currently in the lead with two new recruits to their names.

The U18 deal, which offers a Family Area season ticket for £24 or £48 elsewhere in the ground, has been a huge hit with the Dons’ young fan base and the age group makes up 30 percent of season ticket holders.

UniSix, a deal with allows students to return to a reserved seat for six games of their choice, has increased with 41 students taking up the offer.

The impressive corporate hospitality packages available at stadiummk  with the surroundings of the DoubleTree by Hilton, have won over more fans with clubGold members rising to record numbers from 110 to 127.

Memberships are also on the up with supporters making the most of the reduction in price for Club Dons - falling from £15 to £10 this year – helping numbers rise by 75 percent while Young Dons is up by 10 percent.

Once again the Direct Debit has proved the most popular method of payment with 71 percent of season ticket holders paying via the method.
