Chris Sarginson will be the man in the middle for this Tuesday’s Capital One Cup clash with Northampton Town.
Sarginson has been officiating in the Football League for five years, referring over 120 games since his debut in 2008.
During his time, Sarginson has taken charge of five games involving the Dons, showing 19 yellow cards but no red cards. Sarginson’s last appointment with the Dons came in 2011/12, when he oversaw the 1-1 draw with Preston North End at Deepdale. The Dons have never lost a game Sarginson has taken charge of.
Last season, Sarginson refereed 29 games, booked 69 players and sent off four. Although Sarginson didn’t referee a Dons game last season, he did umpire Northampton Town on two occasions, two 1-1 draws against Torquay United and Morecambe.
