Lee Hodson has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad ahead of their 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying match against Russia next week.
Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neil named a 20-man squad for the World Cup Qualifier during the week but the Dons full-back has since been drafted into the squad.
Hodson, who completed a move from Watford to the Dons in the summer, already has nine caps to his name for his national side.
Northern Ireland currently sit in fifth place in the group with just three points from their opening five matches so far while Russia, now under the guidance of Fabio Capello, are just two points behind group leaders Portugal with two games in hand.
The Group F qualifier was due to take place in late March but was postponed due to heavy snow.
Hodson will link up with his international team-mates on Sunday, following the Dons’ Sky Bet League 1 fixture against Crewe. The match takes place on Wednesday 14th August; kick-off 7.45pm, at Windsor Park.
