Hodson, who was an unused substitute as Northern Ireland pulled off a shoch victory over Russia last week, will link up with his international team-mates on Monday 2nd September and will miss the Dons’ JPT home tie against Northampton Town, and the Sky Bet League 1 fixture against Swindon Town.
The right-back will return to England on Wednesday 11th September, allowing him to re-join the Dons ahead of their Sky Bet League 1 fixture with Notts County at stadiummk on Saturday 14th September.
Northern Ireland are currently fourth in Group F, eight points behind leaders Portugal.
