MK Dons provided Aylesbury with a treat on Thursday afternoon as players and staff took part in a flash mob in the Town Centre.
The event was promoted as an opportunity to have tea with Dean Lewington and Alan Smith. Little did the supporters in attendance know it was just a smoke screen for an unprecedented appearance from the men from MK1.
While Smith and Lewington mingled with supporters, the remainder of the first team and Under-18 players gathered around the corner before heading to the square to meet supporters. MK Dons goalkeeper Ian McLoughlin and starlet Dele Alli entertained fans with football tricks as they walked with their team-mates.
The players and staff then spent time chatting, signing autographs and posing with photos while others shared a cup of tea with supporters. Dons mascot Donny was also on hand to entertain the youngsters who were also able to walk away with free signed copies of the squad photo.
Dons captain Lewington said: “It was a great opportunity to meet some of the supporters who travel into Milton Keynes to watch us and a nice chance for some of the lads to see Aylesbury too. It’s always good to get out in the local community to see what the Club means to people and it was good to see everyone’s faces when the rest of the team turned up too.”
