Team News: Crawley Town

6 April 2013

Daniel Powell returns to the starting XI for this afternoon’s clash with Crawley Town at stadiummk.

Powell hasn’t started for the Dons since injuring his hamstring in the goalless draw away at Sheffield United in early March, but returns to the side for today’s game. Powell will take up his usual position on the right-hand side of an attacking three alongside Patrick Bamford in the centre and Dean Bowditch on the left. Chris Lines is the man to make way.

Elsewhere, Robinson’s men remain unchanged with Adam Chicksen keeping his place at left full-back despite playing through Monday’s game with injections in his ankle. Chicksen, along with Ian McLoughlin, Jon Otsemobor, Mathias Kouo-Doumbe and Shaun Williams, will be looking to earn a third clean-sheet on the bounce for the Dons.

On the bench, the Dons have Luke Chadwick available to call upon as well as striker Alan Smith and midfield duo Lines and George Baldock. Academy starlet Giorgio Rasulo is also available to Robinson as a replacement, following his spell away with England Under-16s.

David Martin (back), Dean Lewington (knee), Izale McLeod (hamstring) and Antony Kay (suspended) all miss out.

MK Dons (4-2-3-1): McLoughlin; Otsemobor, Kouo-Doumbe, Williams, Chicksen; Potter, Gleeson (c); Powell, Bamford, Bowditch; Lowe.
