Team News: Colchester United

16 April 2013

Stephen Gleeson starts tonight against Colchester United as Karl Robinson makes three changes to his team.

Gleeson missed the weekend defeat to Leyton Orient with an ankle knock but is deemed fit enough to start alongside Darren Potter in the centre of midfield this evening. As well as Gleeson, duo Luke Chadwick and Daniel Powell also come into the side in place of Chris Lines and Ryan Lowe.

Powell will take up a position on the right-hand side of an attacking three, with Chadwick occupying the ‘number 10’ role. Elsewhere, the Dons starting XI remains unchanged.

Elsewhere,  Alan Smith, Izale McLeod, George Baldock and Antony Kay will all be looking to make an impact from the bench, the latter having not featured since his sending off away at Crewe Alexandra. Lines and Lowe are also amongst the substitutes.

Goalkeeper David Martin (back) and Adam Chicksen (ankle) are the two absentees.

Colchester United: Walker, Garmston, Okuonghae, Sears, Bond, Ibehre, Wilson, Massey, White, Wright, Clifford.

Subs: Cousins (GK), Heath, O'Toole, Morrison, Bean, M Smith, Porter.

MK Dons (4-2-3-1): McLoughlin; Otsemobor, Kouo-Doumbe, Williams, Lewington (c); Potter, Gleeson; Powell, Chadwick, Bowditch; Bamford.

Subs: A Smith, McLeod, Lowe, Baldock, Lines, Kay.
