Rookie official Darren Bond will take charge of this weekend’s match between MK Dons and Crawley Town.
This is Bond’s first season in the Football League and the Lancashire-based umpire has never officiated a match involving the Dons, having only refereed Crawley Town once.
Bond has marshalled a total of 21 games this season and has brandished 60 yellow cards and three red cards. Bond has sent two players off in his last three games.
The young whistle-blower last appointment came on Saturday 16 thMarch, when he was the man in the middle for Chesterfield’s 1-0 win over Oxford at the Kassam Stadium. Bond booked two Oxford players that afternoon.
