Betting preview: Colchester United

16 April 2013

MK Dons go into tonight’s clash with Colchester United as favourites, according to the Club’s official betting partner Bet Butler.

Karl Robinson’s side are 13/10 to walk away from Weston Homes Community Stadium with a vital three points while the U’s are priced at 12/5 to pick up a valuable victory, which could see them mathematically avoid relegation. The draw is at 5/2.

In two of the last four meeting between the two teams, the Dons have run out 5-1 winners and the visitors are 150/1 to repeat that scoreline for a third time this evening.

Elsewhere in League 1, promotion-chasing Brentford (15/8) will look to move into the automatic promotion spots with a victory over sixth-placed Sheffield United (13/8) while play-off hopefuls Swindon Town (4/7) host Crewe Alexandra (6/1).

Down at the bottom, Scunthorpe United (11/10) could climb out of the drop-zone if they beat already-relegated Bury (3/1) at Gigg Line, although they would need Oldham Athletic (6/4) to lose to Yeovil Town (2/1) in order to do so.
